A Study on Reversible Logic Gates of Quantum Computing

Circuit model of computer provides a better abstraction of computational process across the world. The building block of a circuit is the logic gates which are the main information processing units. In electronics, a logic gate is an idealized or physical device implementing a Boolean function; that is, it performs a logical operation on one or more logical inputs, and produces a single logical output. Similar to classical computer, logic gates play an important role in building circuits in a quantum computer. In this paper, a study of logic gates and the various mathematical representations of logic gates has been done.
